Finestrat is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. Set in the province of Alicante, in the Marina Baja district, it forms a conurbation with Benidorm.
Finestrat is just 8 minutes from Benidorm and 50 kilometres from Alicante-Elche airport. By road it is reached via the AP-7 motorway, from exits 65-A. From there, a local road in good condition connects with the village in a few minutes. It can also be reached directly from the N-332 national road.
Although the historic centre is inland, the municipal area has around 267 metres of coastline, from the Punta del Tossal to the mouth of the Barranco de la Cachola, where the so-called Cala de Finestrat is found; it is one of the municipalities in Spain with the smallest outlet to the sea. This Cala de Finestrat beach borders the municipal districts of Villajoyosa, to the southwest, and Benidorm, to the northeast.

The legendary Puig Campana mountain is found within its municipal area, its peak reaching 1,410 m above sea level. The Terra Mitica theme park also occupies part of the municipality's 42.25 km2.
